Hi, and thank you for stopping by - I am the Quilt Fairy and my real name is Valentina. What I lack in fairy looks, I make up for with enthusiasm and determination, which is not difficult, considering my love for handmade baby quilts. Throughout the years, women have been keeping quilted records of their hopes, dreams and beliefs and passing them on to their children. This tradition of quilted memories is what I, through The Quilt Fairy, am striving to keep alive and preserve.

If you are like me, you know that a handmade crib quilt is a perfect way to celebrate and cherish the arrival of a baby. Through finest appliques and quality craftsmanship a baby quilt stores the touch, the smell and the memories of a truly special time. For this reason, I am committed to using all means - real and magical - to provide you with the quality and service you deserve.

Oh, you are asking about the new baby rhymes? You like them? Well, I couldn't find classic lullabies about dinosaurs and airplanes, so I had to write them. They are not a masterpiece but are easy to remember and were such a joy to write.

You want to know my plans for the future? OK, but remember it is a secret. I am thinking of personalized baby quilts - with embroidered initials, date of birth, pictures or even .....shhhhh, just come back later to see what's new and exciting!
